I have recorded the three guided relaxations below as examples for trainee teachers. I hope they are helpful.
You might like to become familiar with them in your personal practice first, and then use them as a basis from which to create your own practices as a teacher.
These practices, taken in savasana, are suitable for all levels. They are easy to follow and do not contain any complex yoga terminology or subtle anatomy. I suggest offering them at the end of a class.
Any imagery is intentionally neutral or pleasant. Please check with your students in advance (e.g. in a health questionnaire) if any imagery or colours are uncomfortable for them. These can then be avoided.
