Please read the following for your safety and enjoyment of yoga classes and events.
Student health and safety
If you are a new student, you will be provided with a standard Health Questionnaire, to be completed and returned before a class or event.
It is the student’s responsibility, on an ongoing basis, to inform the teacher of any changes to their health and wellbeing prior to activity.
Adaptations and support can only be offered for conditions or injuries that are declared in advance.
Yoga is not a substitute for medication or treatment.
Online livestream classes
Please ensure that your camera is placed so that you are visible to the teacher. The teacher will not be able to see you at all times within a group setting. Please therefore request assistance or adaptations when needed and take care to avoid over-exertion and pain at all times.
Class information will state whether the event is unsuitable for certain health conditions or injuries. If you are an unsure about an event’s suitability, please contact the teacher in advance to discuss this, and your healthcare professional.
Pre-recorded classes and audio offerings
Such offerings cannot be adapted to the individual in real time.
Product or event information will mention for whom the offering is intended, in terms of experience and whether it is unsuitable for any health conditions or injuries. If you are unsure of an event’s suitability, please contact the teacher prior to purchase for clarification, and your healthcare professional as needed.
By accessing and participating in classes and events, either livestream or pre-recorded, you confirm that you have read and understood the contents of this document.
If a class or event is cancelled by the teacher, a full refund will be issued.
Any cancellation on the part of the student is to be made at least 24 hours in advance. A refund or re-scheduling cannot be offered after this time.
Thank you for your understanding.
For events hosted by yoga studios and organisations, please consult their policies on cancellations and refunds.
